Spanning generations and nations, this event brought together over 140 people. Sons, daughters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, mothers and fathers, in addition to community members, practitioners and policy makers shared information, knowledge and experience on the roles and responsibilities of the family in the health and well-being of Indigenous communities; the supports needed for family well-being; and the programs practices and resources focused on rebuilding the cultural strengths of families.
