Mary Easterson is a member of the Southern Tutchone clan. She has worked as a Yukon First Nation educator for many years. Ms. Easterson has a Master's degree from the University of British Columbia and has taught there as a professor of First Nations Literature.
Richard Thorne is Cowichan First Nation from Duncan, British Columbia. Mr. Thorne is a professional illustrator and artist currently living in Vancouver.
