In May 1995, a National Conference on Aboriginal Early Childhood Training Programs was held in Montreal and hosted by the Quebec Native Women's Association. participants were asked to explore the criteria for principles and guidelines for First Nations Early Childhood Education Training Programs. This project details the results of that study and the evaluation tools developed to assist communities in assessing program content and the learning environment.
